I know the website looked a bit funny for a month or so, but I couldnĄŻt help it - IĄŻve discovered that itĄŻs now almost impossible to publish my website in China now, whether I use publisher or whether I use an FTP, with or without a VPN proxyĄ crikey, what a hassle. Anyway, IĄŻm home for Christmas now, so here is a more updated website ..at last. |

This time has been more ĄŽslash and burnĄŻ, so itĄŻs more a case of what IĄŻve deleted rather than what IĄŻve added. Except IĄŻve updated my Sichuan University page to include a couple more semesters, and I torched all the travel pages and put just one up instead. |

Since I have been learning Chinese for a while, and I am allowed to write what I want on my own website, I have banged on a lot about learning Chinese. Well, some people tell me itĄŻs useful anyway. |

A lot of people have read my BLCU page, however, since thatĄŻs quite a popular university for foreigners. Unless you have a reasonable stash of foreign currency in your bank, however, you are going to need a cheaper, long-term option as well... |

So I have included a page about my time at Sichuan University, which I have been studying at for about three years, since 2008/09. The teachers are more laid back, but then so is the school fee. |

But I have scrapped all the day-by-day accounts of travelling I had before, in favour of a list of my 10 favourite places, with a few pictures of each. You never know, one day I might be able to afford to go to a few more and change the order around. |

And I couldnĄŻt remove the pictures of my dancing days. I have recently discovered that my ex-partner has opened her own successful dance-school in London, and seems to be doing very nicely out of it. IĄŻll put that down as another career-blunder thenĄ |

The old favourite, and still gets the most hits. My experiences of disgusting food has only changed in so far as I now know how to avoid ordering it all in the first place. |
